What you'll be doing

• Take ownership of Power BI workspace structure and RLS
• Build new Power BI reports end to end, whilst updating and managing existing ones
• Build self-serviced Power BI
• Develop a validation system for Power BI reports
• Create and maintain documentation behind Power BI process
• Continuously improve user experience by creating tutorials and enhancing the visual aspect of the BI
• Build and manage Power BI connections, including dealing with data flow errors,
• Be aware of and implement latest Power BI features
• Collaborate with all departments across the company to provide data solutions, operational and ad hoc analysis, understand client funnel
• Work with UX and design teams on product and user experience improvement

A little bit about you

• Fluent in English
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer science
• Proven experience as a BI developer/ data analyst with strong proficiency in Power BI
• Financial literate: understanding of accounting and key finance processes
• Good communication and presentations skills - willingness to learn and share knowledge with others
• Ability to present results to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Profound knowledge in SQL, MC Excel, DAX, Power Query
• Solid understanding of how to collect, transform and cleanse data
• Experience with optimisation techniques in DAX
• Understanding of data structures and database systems
• Ability to adapt in a fast pace and ever-changing environment
• Self-starter, comfortable working independently and in a team
• Good commercial acumen

Good to have

• Experience in fin-tech industry
• Experience in data warehousing projects
• Experience with other BI systems
• Knowledge of Python for data analysis (pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, plotly and scipy)
• Experience with Google Analytics or marketing analytics
• Understanding the techniques used to track and manage web traffic
• Experience with forecasting and modelling
