Amazon Robotics co-op opportunities will be based in the Greater Boston Area, our campuses provide a unique opportunity for interns to have direct access to robotics testing labs and manufacturing facilities. This role is a 6 month co-op to join AR full time (40 hours/week) from January - June 2024.

Business Analyst: As you launch your career as a business analyst at Amazon, you will focus on improving the success within a business function by analyzing data, discovering and solving real world problems, and building metrics and business cases to improve the customer's experience. We are focused on your success and want to build future leaders within Amazon.
A key component of the role is to identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data and collaborating with internal teams. In addition, design and develop automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions. Lastly, enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format. Internship roles are available nationwide: Corporate offices and fulfillment centers.
Key Responsibilities -
1.Converting data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information
2.Design and develop highly available dashboards, perform business analysis and data queries using SQL, Excel and other BI Tools
3.Working with large data sets, automate data extraction, and build monitoring/reporting dashboard
4.Interacting with internal stakeholders to deep-dive outlier events
5.Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities
6.Communicating complex analysis and insights to our stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing.
7.Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format

Travel amount is less than 10% a year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in College/University and must have at least one semester/term/quarter of school left to complete after the end of the co-op
- Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h / week) 6-month co-op between Jan - June 2024
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau or similar tools
- Experience in Python and JS
- Proficiency in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large data sets
