We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Department Head for our Regulatory Reporting Team based in Luxembourg.

About the role

You will be leading the initiatives to develop and strengthen the reporting platform (tools, processes, people) of the bank, while at the same time being responsible for the day-to-day operations of the regulatory reporting team. You will manage a small but growing team of reporting and business analysts, that are tasked with handling all regulatory reporting for the bank and its branches and subsidiaries including reports to regulators and relevant authorities in the jurisdictions, where we are established. The position reports to the CFO.

To support our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a highly skilled manager with hands-on experience from similar positions.

What you will be doing

• Delivery of regulatory/prudential and statistical reports for regulators, central banks and other relevant authorities in Luxembourg, UK, Denmark, and Germany + any other relevant jurisdiction
• Primary contact with regulators/authorities in reporting matters.
• Preparation of internal reports on regulatory key ratios (solvency, leverage ratio, LCR and NSFR)
• Chairing the sign-off meetings with CFO and CRO
• Develop and maintain the reporting governance framework and ensuring team compliance
• Expand and strengthen the reporting platform including tools, processes and people
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are analysed and implemented in reporting solutions to support new product development and expansion projects

What we are looking for

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in the financial/banking sector, in a similar role.

• You have a talent for identifying optimisation opportunities and determination to succeed with the implementation.
• You are a highly skilled manager and a team player with a hands-on approach.
• Strong understanding of banking regulatory reporting rules
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills
• Master's or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent degree

You have a positive and open mindset and enjoy interacting with your colleagues and stakeholders. You have strong organizational and project management skills, that enable you to be both flexible, and to work up against tight deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including development teams and business users.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities. As a person, you are open-minded and have “I-can-do” attitude.

You should take responsibility and take personal ownership of your tasks while also being a knowledge-sharing team-player producing.

You have good communication skills.

As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset.

The position will be based at Banking Circle’s Headquarters in Luxembourg.
