About the role

We are looking to hire a skilled Events & PR Director to join our commercial team in London, reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer. In this role you will get the chance to drive all events for Banking Circle globally. Therefore, travelling to our global offices depending on where events are held should be expected.

You will handle onsite and offsite events, from organization of logistics to coordination with facilities to arrange a seamless delivery of audio and visual, event branding, decor, staffing, talent, entertainment, catering, security, entertainment, and transportation. You will be a genuine advisor, you provide consultative ‘one stop shop’ planning support for sales & other stakeholders to ensure exemplary event experience.

What you will be doing

• ​Ensure solid communication, liaison and coordination with internal stakeholders
• ​Develop and execute a strategic marketing event plan to enhance event success
• ​Manage external event and PR agencies across three continents
• ​Ensure events runs smoothly and resolve any problems that might occur
• ​Define event’s KPI’s with our CRO and Head of Sales
• ​Analyse event impact and prepare post-event reports on agreed KPI’s
• ​Understand our brand, propositions, and target audiences to ensure relevant, engaging events and on-brand messaging
• ​Be creative and think outside the norm – find new and exciting ways in getting our brand out there with unique client experiences

What we are looking for

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from a similar role where you have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience. Experience in the Payment, FinTech or Banking Industry will be an advantage. Furthermore, we expect you to have an educational background within a suitable field such as PR, marketing, hospitality management or similar.

You have a solid track record of designing, owning, and executing events across borders successfully, and you are used to working with KPI’s and marketing techniques for event management. Preferably, you have also been responsible for managing PR agencies.

As a person you are an exceptional team player with a dynamic and open mindset, and you enjoy interacting with your colleagues and stakeholders. You have strong organisational and project management skills that enable you to be both flexible, and to deliver against tight deadlines. You are able to demonstrate your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and you can identify ways to improve efficiency.

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English.
