About the role

We are looking to hire a skilled IT Security Engineer to join our Engineering Operations team in Copenhagen or Luxembourg reporting to the Security & Networks Lead.

In this role you will help deliver security services to all facets of the business. You will be supporting on both operations and architecture functions as well as development teams and information security to ensure best-in-class security services in the entire organization.

What you will be doing

• Be part of and lead projects to develop and deliver secure solutions

• Define, create and maintain IT security procedures

• Manage, deploy and maintain various technical IT security products

• Access control management

• Design and implement technical IT security services and solutions

• Maintain and improve the security posture of the core platforms

• Provide cyber security expertise in security solutions and architectures

What we are looking for

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role preferably within a regulated entity where you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Alternatively, you have a master’s degree within IT security and an ambition to develop your competencies within this area.

We expect you to have knowledge within cloud and platform security management, preferably Azure Cloud, endpoint security, intrusion detection and in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures. Furthermore, having concrete experience with threat detection and incident handling is an advantage.

You are a true team-player with a collaborative and open attitude, and you enjoy communicating your ideas and listen to others’.

You can communicate technical solutions to non-technical staff in a clear and concise manner, and you can help ensure that team colleagues are up to date with urgent incidents, tasks, and work instructions.

Some degree of flexibility is also expected as there will be a limited need of working different hours or weekends if requested.

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English.
