About the role
We are looking to hire a promising Junior Service Desk Operator to join our Service Desk team in Luxembourg, you will report to the Service Desk Team Lead and be a part of our growing Engineering Department.
In this role you will get the chance to work on the L1 support by delivering high quality IT service to our internal organisation in Luxembourg and offices abroad.
What you will be doing
Act as first and single point of contact for all users of Banking Circle
- Learn and practice on how to assess tickets according to issue, priority, and urgency.
- Answer phone, email, and chat in time, according to related SLA/KPI in place
- Handle general IT and onboarding requests.
- Provide full support for issues/requests.
- Escalate tickets to technical and management teams.
- Monitor backlogs to keep the request level low.
- Maintain a high user satisfaction.
- Support onsite at the user location
What we are looking for
To be the right candidate, you have a least a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, IT Systems or equivalent and minimum 1year experience in a similar role.
- You are passionate about IT field and aim to consolidate a professional career where learning process has all it place.
- You have an interest about technology tools such as Windows 10, VMWare, and Office 365, as well a curiosity for dealing with hardware.
As a person, we expect you to be an open and positive team-player who enjoys learning and be challenged, with strong organizational abilities and a problem-solving mindset.
Clear and customer-oriented, you are a great communicator with users on all organizational levels.
Flexibility in attitude and working hours is necessary due to a fast-paced working environment with a high rate of changes.
As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset.
The position will be based at Banking Circle’s headquarters in Luxembourg.
