About the role

We are looking to hire a skilled Senior Development Engineer to join one of our frontend teams in Copenhagen consisting of seven Frontend Developers, reporting to the Engineering Team Lead.

In this role you will get the chance to join our growing Engineering department where you will take part in optimizing our Platform continuously while you will also be working with different business units. Collaboration, commitment, and engagement are some of the keywords to get success in this position as you will get in touch with many stakeholders across the company in order to build the best product to our Users.

You will be working and collaborating with UX Designers, Backend Developers, Infrastructure Engineers and stakeholders on a daily basis to enable our products.

What you will be doing

• Develop frontend features prioritized by the Product Owner
• Ensure our code quality is best in class
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Run weekly and on-demand daily releases and release automation
• Handle pipeline optimizations
• Build and design our shared library with clear and consistent components
• Participate as an expert advisor to stakeholders when new features are to be designed
• Take ownership in running different projects internally

What we are looking for

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have 4+ years of experience from a similar role as a Senior Frontend Developer where you have delivered excellent results. You have an educational background within computer science, engineering, or another applicable field together with experience in building web applications and using different test frameworks. Financial domain knowledge is seen as an advantage.

We also expect you to have:

• Professional experience with writing TypeScript
• Experience with Monorepo
• Knowledge of a UI framework (React is preferred) and NX
• Experience with UI/UX design and accessibility
• Experience with scaling a platform
• Capability to troubleshoot existing software solutions and designs to be better

Furthermore, we expect you to have solid stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organisation, and you have solid experience of solving complex problems in a professional setting. Knowledge about Scrum Artifacts will be seen as an advantage.

As a person, you are pro-active and quality oriented. You have strong analytical skills and a structured way of working. You should be willing to take part in decision making and design discussions during development. You have a curiosity to learn and are open to give feedback in a constructive way. We furthermore expect you to be a dependable and knowledge-sharing team-player that cooperates well at all levels of an organization.
