Job description:

1. Developing software applications
• Develop software applications, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging software programs.
• Work on both the front-end and back-end of the application.
• Work on Kafka Real Time Steaming, Spring Boot, Timescale DB, Cloud Engineering technologies like AWS, Cloud Foundry.
2. Developing APIs
• Develop APIs and integrate with third-party APIs to ensure that the application is fully functional.
• Utilize Handon Integration technologies like Config Server, Kubernetes Integration as Cloud Platform, API Gateway for hosting all API from Onprem to Cloud.
• Hands-on Java development creating APIs, streams and data services contributing to the overall program and ensuring the components are completely tested and delivered.
3. Designing and implementing databases
• Design and implement databases to ensure that data is stored and retrieved accurately and efficiently.
• Digital Integration database technologies like ELK storage, Change Data Capture Framework, Timeseries Database, Document DB, Timescale DB, MySQL Tile, Oracle, AS400
• Provide Designs and articulate how technology components will work, document the designs, and help the development teams adhere to the designs
4. Developing and implementing security protocols
• Develop and implement security protocols to protect the application and its data from unauthorized access.
• API Security integration with applications, Authentication & Authoring application security, Application & Data security implementation.
5. Optimizing the performance of the application
• Optimize the performance of the application to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Down sampling Concepts for slow Streaming Data, Edge Caching Concepts implementation required
6. Leading development projects & Production Triage:
• Lead development projects, which includes coordinating with other team members, setting project timelines, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Create and manage development and delivery estimations and schedule and deliver on time key functionality working with the team.
• Create and consolidate reports and dashboards to report on progress to Stakeholders and Senior IT Management.
• Production support of group applications & ensuring SLAs are met.
• Lead offshore teams with direction and help the team members develop, test and deliver components.
7. Mentoring and coaching junior developers
• Mentor and coach junior developers to help them improve their skills and develop their careers.
• Provide architecture guidance to the offshore Leads, ensure that the architectural patterns and frameworks are understood and implemented as designed.
8. Staying up to date with new technologies:
• Keep up to date with new technologies and industry trends to ensure that the application is using the latest and most effective tools and frameworks
• Provide innovative solutions to complicated issues/problems across multiple IT Projects, work with the architects to understand the architectural patterns and ensure those become part of the solutions
• Consult and provide cutting edge ideas and solutions to the larger IT community by continuously studying industry and technology trends and introducing appropriate technology components.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $145000 - $166398 This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
