Reporting to the Head of Liquidity and FX Risk
Direct Responsibilities
- Monitor and help to manage liquidity levels throughout the Currencycloud banking network
- Monitor and help to manage currency exposure and credit risk levels against our counterparties
- Extract, structure, analyse and report relevant financial data and insights
- Maintain and expand the current suite of SQL/Python scripts, and Tableau reports
- Develop ad-hoc analyses when required
- Implement and monitor new risk-related KPIs/metrics
- Help to develop new liquidity and risk policies and procedures
- Lead continuous improvement activity, track system/process issues and drive root cause analysis/resolution
Support
- Closely collaborate with the wider Visa Risk and Liquidity orgs, so as to enable holistic risk and liquidity management throughout the wider Visa group
- Closely collaborate with Product and Tech teams in scoping, developing, and delivering new platform products and features
- Own and deliver on relevant ‘last mile’ testing, ’check out’ and pilot activity, once tech deliverables are released into UAT/production environments
- Train new joiners to the team, furthermore coaching and supporting them with their development requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Team player
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably working within risk management or treasury
- Python, SQL and Tableau fluency are strictly required; REST API development knowledge is an advantage
- Effective communicator & collaborator with a growth mindset
- Treasury and/or risk certifications will be well regarded
