eFX Sales

Our desk is an integral part of the ING Financial Markets business and is involved in driving the bank’s ambition for digitalisation. Our clients are based all over the world and are both institutional and corporate clients. Our main goal is to help our clients execute foreign exchange transactions electronically as well as help clients navigate the electronic FX landscape and make informed trading decisions. We offer a range of products, including FX spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, options and algorithmic order strategies. Within eFX sales we work closely with the eFX trading desk, origination sales teams, execution sales teams and product development.

Your role

The job will position you in the fast-paced environment of financial markets with a focus on FX and digitalisation. 

As a junior eFX sales person you will be playing an instrumental role in the development and implementation of the FM digitalisation strategy whilst contributing to the further success of our clients and the bank. The role will also involve driving revenue growth, assist with product development, building client relationships and analyse large data sets.

Your key responsibilities

  • Participate in client meetings and pitch ING’s eFX product to clients and ensure a smooth pre-trade, execution and post-trade process.

  • Utilise data analytics and reports to draw timely and actionable insights with the aim to optimise clients’ eFX flows from the various channels we work with to boost overall client experience and performance.

  • Provide support and promptly resolve issues relating to electronic trading platforms for our clients and internal sales teams.

  • Keep in tune with the ever-evolving market technologies in FX and work closely with our eFX trading team to continuously improve and develop our electronic trading solutions.

  • Grow your network with internal FM/WB stakeholders.

As a junior eFX Sales Person you will also need:

  • Some experience with FX, or a related role in the financial services industry would be advantageous.

  • Language skills: fluent in English, Dutch is an advantage.

  • Solid numerical skills.
