About the job
We are seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced marketer to manage our marketing and communications activities for markets within APAC region with a focus on Japan and South Korea. You will help build a marketing mix across multiple channels – events, webinars, social media, email campaigns etc. You will manage operations to ensure efficiency and agreed results are delivered.
The ideal candidate is a Marketer with strong research and analytical skills, who is results-oriented and strategically skilled, with proven impact on sales and revenue contribution.
About the Team
Reporting to the team marketing manager, the right candidate will be required to work very closely with in-market sales leadership and global stakeholders. The candidate should be a self-starter who thrives in a very fast paced environment, willing to roll up their sleeves, and willing to challenge their comfort zone.
This position is based in Japan.
Maintain local marketing plans and planning documents.
Create and successfully drive innovative and effective demand generation marketing programs, including integrated digital marketing campaigns for awareness, lead generation, and growth.
Own and execute our SEM & SEO program operations in Japan, ensure regional webpages are regularly updated and relevant for the market
Develop and execute a locally focused event program to support business objectives and enhance brand presence.
Handle the logistics of third-party conferences and internally hosted briefings, ensuring all events are executed seamlessly
Manage translation and localization efforts to ensure effective communication across diverse languages in Japan and South Korea, coordinating with external vendors or internal resources as needed.
Work directly with stakeholders to deliver thought leadership content, focusing on driving our executive and market presence to our target market. This will come in many forms, such as blogs, whitepapers, interviews, social etc. Monitor and report on marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the territory in a structured and regular manner to the Regional/BU Director, ensuring measurable return on marketing investment.
Be the local brand champion for LexisNexis Risk Solutions across the assigned territories
Proactively build and maintain relationships with local associations or 3rd parties in APAC, especially in Japan, South Korea
Help manage North Asia regional marketing database repository. The key metric will be data acquisition based on key target personas and existing database cleansing.
Owning in-marketing budget which includes managing and reporting all invoicing, purchasing, contracts and budget tracking
Understand the needs of buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria and use cases in each country.
Collect market trends and competitor analysis to recommend changes to commercial strategies and marketing investments based on analysis and feedback.
A mid-level regional marketing position with strong operational elements and ownership.
Good communication & presentation skills. Bi-lingual language (Japanese & English) is preferred.
Familiar with marketing/CRM/social media platforms and tools such as Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce to deliver campaigns.
Adept at managing conflicting priorities and objectives.
Commercially driven and business focused with an ability to maintain strong working relationships with sales and across the business.
Self-starter and Tech-savvy.
