A fast-growing part of our business applies these assets to our clients’ payments processing needs, and given this growth, we are creating a strategic, marketing-facing position to accelerate LexisNexis expansion into this area. The Payments Efficiency Vertical Solutions Consultant will be a subject matter expert with advanced knowledge of Payments Efficiency data, programs, and processes that will guide LexisNexis Sales teams in implementing our Payments Efficiency solution suite. The Payments Efficiency Vertical Solutions Consultant will be critical to implementing our near and long-term market strategies and achieving commercial success.

About the Job: The Payments Efficiency Vertical Solutions Consultant will be a subject matter expert with advanced knowledge of Payments Efficiency data, programs, and processes that will guide LexisNexis Sales teams in implementing our Payments Efficiency solution suite. The Payments Efficiency Vertical Solutions Consultant will be critical to implementing our near and long-term market strategies and achieving commercial success.
You’ll be responsible for:
Interact with external clients to provide expertise and guidance in translating how LexisNexis Payments Efficiency products and solutions meet the client’s needs
Interact with internal clients (e.g., LexisNexis Sales teams) to provide leadership, guidance, and inspiration to identify opportunities
Identify new growth segments and define strategies for accelerating sales
Evaluate the market area performance on a continuing basis and establish the proper measures of performance
Maintain an in-depth understanding of payment market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape to support sales activities
Track and report Sales pipeline activities to ensure overall pipeline health
Document new product opportunities obtained through client interactions.
Work closely with Strategy/Market Planning and Product Management to develop tactical plans to execute their strategic plan/vision
Achieve near and long-term revenue targets
Qualifications
Proven customer-interaction skills and relationship-building skills
Expert in Payments customer acquisition on both consumers and businesses
Expert in Payments needs, gaps, and operational processes of various segments (e.g., financial institutions, non bank financial institutions, corporates, and other industries)
Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and familiarity with payments and Payments Efficiency products
Knowledge and prior experience in international and domestic account to account payments, clearing systems and payments messaging, as well as compliance and regulatory requirements in this market
Expert in Payments Efficiency products (Bankers Almanac KYC, Bankers Almanac Payment Routing, Validate)
Highly motivated and able to work independently
Knowledge of the leading customer segments including banks, non bank financial institutions, and corporates, as well as vendors of ERP and banking platforms
Knowledge of industry players’ internal systems and platform needs
Excellent project management, analytical, and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills
Proven ability to work effectively within a matrix organization
Significant direct client experience
BA/BS or equivalent experience.
Travel is required – 50% of the time (post COVID19 restrictions)
