What it is
A permanent opportunity but dedicated to an 18-month program that educates, inspires personal growth, and builds professional confidence to create a Priceless career with Mastercard. Launch will include development opportunities such as professional skills learning and networking and career conversations.

What you’ll do
Launchers will undertake 2x 9-month rotations to gain a broaden skillset and exposure to the business and different career opportunities within Account Management or Business Development.

Account Management teams include Retail & Commerce, Digital Partners and Financial Institutions.

Account Management involves setting sales strategies that are aligned with geographies and achieving sales goals that drive market share, volume and revenue growth. Also, partnering with customers to deliver customized solutions and comprehensive consulting support. Typical responsibilities include:

• Analysing customer business strategies and design tactical plans to enhance potential customers profitability relying on Mastercard products and services.
• Supporting Account Managers to complete routine business processes and execute initiatives across multiple business functions and on team activity management and performance tracking
•Ensuring to be up-to-date with the market and industry development, contribute ideas to enhance Mastercard competitive edge

Business Development teams include Industry Engagement, Digital Partners/Fintech and Public Sector.

Business Development focuses on growing revenue by identifying and pursuing opportunities with new or existing customers/markets. It also focuses on growing market share, market acceptance, the number of customer touch points, and MasterCard’s regional footprint. Typical responsibilities include:

• Using analytical and problem-solving skills to provide analyses and solutions that satisfy business needs and inform strategy development • Leveraging data tools to develop revenue and expense benchmarks and performance trends

What you’ll need
• To be available to start from 2nd September 2024
• To be a Final Year Masters/Undergraduate Student studying e.g. Business, Economics, Engineering, Management or similar/related degrees.
• A passion/interest in Technology/Fintech • Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong strategic and conceptual aptitude
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
• High-energy, can-do attitude, very strong sense of ownership and desire to succeed with commensurate analytical, technical, and strategic skills
