Who You'll Work With

You will join our Prague office as part of McKinsey’s Firm Security team, which is responsible for ensuring the safety of our colleagues in all work-related contexts. Firm Security team is a global team that works according to the follow-the-sun principle to ensure 24/7 support to firm colleagues.

Your primary set of responsibilities will be focused on supporting projects and initiatives on security resilience topics, led by a Security Specialist. You will be cooperating closely with other firm security members on various projects as well as some other functions in the firm.

What You'll Do

Your day-to-day work will include research of security risks and mitigations and support with different aspects of project management that may include data analysis, user interviews and preparing presentations on topics related to safety & security. Part of your efforts will be directed at the administrative support to the team, which will involve maintaining internal databases, monitoring task trackers, and creating & maintaining security-related content & webpages.

In addition, you will also support the team in daily monitoring and reporting tasks and assist in researching political and security developments in different countries.

Qualifications

Currently studying towards a university degree
An excellent command of written and spoken English; knowledge of another language is a plus
Interested in world affairs and keen to learn more about global political & security developments
Proficient in Windows and MS Office tools, including Power Point and Excel
Skills in data & geo special analysis, and/or user familiarity with cloud-based platforms are a plus
Strong analytical skills and experience in research & analysis and/or content writing, and can demonstrate it with prior experience (professional or academic)
Strong organizational skills; able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks/deadlines
Prepared to take on this role for at least 12 months
