The Opportunity

Our team in the UK is growing - we are looking for people with strong programming skills who are used to working in an Agile environment. You would be working on long term engagements helping clients solve interesting problems.

This role will be primarily based out of our Cheltenham or Manchester office, with a small amount of travel to a customer site for team collaboration and face to face meetings.

With our dedicated lab facilities and break out areas, continuous training and variety of work and regular tech team/research events, we are positive that we can offer what you are looking for next in your career.

The Challenge

As a security- focused developer on long term engagements, you will be expected to work with our clients as part of a hybrid team to help them solve complex software engineering challenges.

This includes:

• Integrating new features into an existing codebase.

• Porting existing code to work with new systems.

• Develop robust software using unit testing and automated testing,

• Using software engineering skills to solve complex and interesting problems.

Skills

Some of the key skills we look for are:

• C development experience

• C code review

• Python development experience

• Use of pytest and pyunit (or similar testing frameworks)

• Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD pipeline tools

• Knowledge of git and working on multi branch projects

• Familiarity with Agile development methodology

• Knowledge of Linux operating system and standard networking protocols
