The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Programme Manager to join us. As a Programme Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the output of our cyber professionals is of the highest standard and in line with industry best practices. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage various cyber security projects, while also engaging with our clients from a governance perspective to ensure compliance and effective execution of security initiatives. This position carries significant responsibility and requires exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

The Challenge
Project Management: Lead and manage cyber security projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Quality Assurance: Implement processes and methodologies to maintain consistently high standards of work output across all cyber security projects.
Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients from a governance perspective, addressing their concerns, providing progress updates, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
Compliance and Governance: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to cyber security.
Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks in cyber security projects and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to the cyber professionals to foster their professional development and enhance their project management skills.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enable aspiring cyber professionals to become successful programme managers.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process optimisation, efficiency gains, and overall enhancement of service delivery.
Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall program performance for both internal stakeholders and clients.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project outcomes.
Skills

In terms of technical and behavioural capabilities, we are looking for individuals who have experience in the following areas:
Experience: Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in managing and delivering cyber security projects, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
Cyber Security Expertise: Strong understanding of cyber security concepts, technologies, and industry standards, with a track record of implementing effective security measures.
Project Management Certification: Possess relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring high-performance levels and team cohesion.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges and find innovative solutions.
Client-Focused: A customer-centric approach with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaboration: A team player who can work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals.
